I have started to despise Microsoft Windows as an operating system.
Unfortunately, mod managers are typically created as Windows apps since Windows is the dominant operating system for everyday users. With the (hopeful) rise of Linux as a gaming platform, running mod managers on Linux will become a useful skill set. There are tools and resources that can be used to run these mod managers, however so far it has been sparse and sometimes ‘unsupported’. To compound the problem, a lot of the tools are not the most new-user friendly.
So, my goal is to start developing user guides for these mod managers! The plan is to discuss the process of each mod manager (or sometimes just a single mod) to get you gaming with your favorite game upgrades!
